    This is a device used to quantitatively examine corneal irregularities and astigmatism. There is a telescope on examiner's side to see the light reflexes of the projected images on the patient's cornea. It is made of painted and unpainted brass and wrought iron. 
Marked C.I. Ophthalmometer, PAT Aug 22, 99 Chicago, Ill USA. Measures 23" X 23 length X 12" wide.
Some paint chipping but not bad for the age. It was rewired at one time, but not recently.
Original cost a hundred years ago was $90.00.
